10th Annual Curley K-8 Auction: The Curley School Parent Council (SPC) will be hosting their 10th Annual Silent Auction at Canary Square on Tuesday, March 28th from 6pm-9pm and would like to extend an invite to all staff, friends and families. The money raised from the Silent Auction goes to directly supporting our school, such as our partnerships with Playworks, BalletROX, arts supplies, science supplies, staff luncheon, Chromebooks etc.. There will be more information that will follow about the online auction. SSC: Our March SSC Meeting will take place on Tuesday, March, 14th from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Upper School Room 209. Please enter through the CASP doors.

SPC: Please join us for the March SPC meeting on Wednesday, March 22nd from 6pm-8pm in the Lower School Cafeteria. At this meeting we will be discussing Excellence for All. As always, childcare, food and translation are provided.

Hiring: We have had 10 teacher jobs posted on www.teachboston.org. We are looking for families to help us and participate in the interview process. Having family voice at the table is very important for hiring and we value your opinions. No previous hiring or interview experience is necessary. We will be hosting interviews on the following days from 3pm-6pm. If you can assist us we can have your child(ren) of school age attend CASP. Volunteers needed for Lion King:
Lion King performers seek your help to make their shows sing! Help is needed with evening shows for the public (March 23-24) as well as daytime shows for students (March 21-22). Volunteer needs include the following tasks – click on the associated link to see time commitments and sign up:

Volunteers will also be needed to usher, provide refreshments for sale, and cover other needs. Lion King Performances: We are excited about the upcoming Lion King Performances for our community. Performance dates:
School Shows
• March 21st and 22nd at 9 a.m. Curley Auditorium
• March 22nd at 1 p.m. Curley Auditorium
Evening Shows
• March 23rd and 24th at 6:30 p.m. Curley Auditorium
April 6 Shubert Theatre Doors open at 5 pm & Show starts at 5:30. (This is an amazing opportunity for all of our students!!!!!)
Families are welcome to come to any performance and all students will attend one of the daytime performances. (Schedule coming soon)

Library and Technology Committee: The Curley K-8 Library will be staffed by a full-time paraprofessional starting next September! Do you want to help? We are assembling teams for specific projects in the library. If you are interested in joining a crew, email Pam Yosca at curleyk8library@gmail.com and indicate if you are available to work on a regular basis (you will receive training) to organize/catalog books; or, if you would like to work an afternoon here or there painting, assembling furniture, and other miscellaneous tasks. ELT: Our school hours for next year will be 8:30am-3:10pm. We will continue to offer a before and after school program here as well.
